Months ago a man lighting a cigarette had caught attention of some of the authorities of our school . It had been decided upon that time that the youngsters must be made aware of the ill effects of it and not to follow the practice in future .

Today was a glorious day in our school as the "No tobacco day" program was being organised by social authorities , backed up with student volunteers . The day began with the Principal delivering a memorable speech on against the use of tobacco and its addicting affects . A poster competition was held among the junior group on the topic 'No smoking'. Senior students debate on the topic whether tobacco is good for health or not . Some argued that tobacco releases stress while the others stated that it proves to be fatal in the long run . At the end the members conducting the program summarized us about tobacco , its addicting nature , how it leads to fatal and causes incurable diseases . Thus at the end of the day we had learnt many new things and we promised and took an oath not to follow the practice of consumption of tobacco.
