Gujarat State government decided to introduce textbooks published by National Council of Educational Research and Training from in class I to class VIII. Each of the textbooks for CBSE curriculum are introduced in the phased manner.

According to the notification issued by State Government States mainly have the NCERT syllabus introduced in Gujarat schools on next academic year of class I, III and VI.
