Demonitisation happened in our country on 8 November 2016 at the midnight.In this our government had banned all the 500 and 1000 currency of our country.People could change there old notes in bank or post office with the new notes of 500 and 2000.
the main purpose of demonitisatio was to stop corruption in our country and demonitisaton helped them to find out people who had black money with them.With the positive impacts of demonitisation there were some problems in this. New notes were not available in enough quantity so by this people were suffering lot.They could not get money on time . The people in rural areas like farmers have to travel in city areas for changing there old notes. Some people have the new note with them in lakhs. How they had got it the middle classeople don't even know. However the demonitisation of notes is a step towards a white country.
