Area over which rain water is collected = 4000 sq meters
Raining rate = 2 mm /minute for 5 hours
Water collected = 2 mm * 5 * 60 = 600 mm = 0.6 meters
volume of water collected = 4, 000 * 0.6 = 240 cubic meters.
base area of the tank underground = 50 m * 40 m = 2, 000 sq meters
Height of the water collected in the tank = 240 / 2000 = 0.12 meters
Raining rate = 2 mm /minute for 5 hours
Water collected = 2 mm * 5 * 60 = 600 mm = 0.6 meters
volume of water collected = 4, 000 * 0.6 = 240 cubic meters.
base area of the tank underground = 50 m * 40 m = 2, 000 sq meters
Height of the water collected in the tank = 240 / 2000 = 0.12 meters
