Resistance(R)= 2.5 Ohm , Potential of the battery(V)=5 Volt , time = 3 min

To find- current ( I ) and the total charge (Q) flowing through the circuit in 3 minutes

So from the Ohms law we know the relation between R , V & I i.e.

  • V= I*R , and here we know the values of R and V so by putting these value in this relation we get
  • I = 5V/2.5Ohm On solving this we get
  • I= 2 Ampere
  • Now for the Calculation of the charge we know the formula Q= I*t

     Given time is 3 min and we have to do the calculation as per S.I units that's that we have convert this value in second so

3 min = 3*60 =>180 sec as we know 1 min = 60 sec

Q = I*t

=> Q= 2Amp * 180 => 360 Coulombs or Amp *sec
