A resistor of 5ohm is connected in series with another resistor 'X'. The potential difference across 5ohm is 10V and that of X is 6V. Calculate the value of 'X'.​

R = R1 + R2 + R3 = 30Ω

I = V/R = 30 / 30 = 1A

V across 10Ω = IR2 = 1 × 10 = 10 V
