a resultant force of 200N gives a body of mass m1 an acceleration of 6m/s square and a body of mass m2 an acceleration of 36m/s square.what acceleration will this force cause when two masses combine together

F=200N

In case of m1

F=m1a

200=m1 6

m1=200/6

now for m2
F=m2a
200=m2×36

m2=200/36

now \: total \: mass \:  = m1 + m2 =  \frac{200}{6}  +  \frac{200}{36}  \\   = \frac{1400}{36}  \\ now \: f = (m1 + m2)a \\ 200 =  \frac{1400}{36} a \\ a =  \frac{36}{7} m {sec}^{ - 2}
hope it will help you
