Answer:

Assumption: Let the weight of pepper be X, price of pepper per kg = Y, profit per kg = P

To find: Total amount spent in buying (TS), Total amount got (TA), Total Profit (TP), Profit Percent (PP)

Given:

X = 150kg

Y = Rs. 400

P = Rs. 60/kg

Therefore, TS   = 150*400 = Rs. 60,000

Total amount spent in buying = Rs. 60,000

TA = 150 * (400+60) = Rs. 69,000

Total Amount Got = Rs. 69,000

TP = 69,000 - 60,000 = Rs. 9,000

Total Profit = Rs. 9,000

PP = 150*100/9000 = 1.66%

Profit Percent = 1.66%
