FINAL ANSWER:-

(i) Rs 27000

(ii) 3240

GIVEN:-

P = Rs. 25000

GST = 12%

discount = 10%

TO FIND:-

(i) Purchaser’s cost price of T.V inclusive of GST.

(ii) GST paid by the purchaser to the Central and State Government .

FORMULA USED: -

formula of 20 % more

i.e. \frac{20}{100}*P

SOLUTION:

Price of product = \frac{20}{100}*25000

= 5000

= 25000 + 5000

= 30000

cost after 10% discount = \frac{10}{100}*30000

                                       =3000

                                       =30000 - 3000

                                       =27000

GST paid by the shopkeeper = \frac{12}{100}*27000

                                                 =3240
