Given :  Earning Margin on different Deos

To find : Average Margin

Solution:

Assuming Cost Price  Of Each Deo are same = 100C

other wise we can not solve the same with out cost price of each deo

Retailer earns 51.22% margin by selling 1 unit of Deo X

=> Margin = (51.22/100) 100C  = 51.22C

Retailer earns 33.33% margin by selling 1 unit of Deo Y

=> Margin = (33.33/100) 100C  = 33.33C

Retailer earns 43.21% margin by selling 1 unit of Deo Z

=> Margin = (43.21/100) 100C  = 43.21C

Retailer earns 29.37% margin by selling 1 unit of Deo A

=> Margin = (29.37/100) 100C  =29.37C

Total Cost = 100C + 100C + 100C + 100C  = 400C

Total Margin = 51.22C + 33.33C + 43.21C + 29.37C

= 157.13 C

Average Margin  =   (157.13C/400C) * 100

= 39.2825 %

the average margin earned by the Retailer by selling 1 unit of each Deodorant  = 39.2825 %
