It is very simply
1.06* 12 = ₹ 12.72 cost of one Kg potatoes after profit

So the rate of 300 Kg potatoes is
12.72* 300 = ₹ 3816

Answer:

Given cost price of potatoes is Rs.420

Selling price of potatoes is Rs.70×6.50=455

Gain percent is

420

455−420
