A rhombus shaped field has green grass for 15 cows. If each side of the rhombus is 200 m and its one of the

diagonals is 320 m, then find the area of the grass field that will be grazed by each cow​

= 1/2 × diagonal (1) × diagonal (2) -------(I)

Side of the Rhombus = 200m

one diagonal of Rhombus = 320m

therefore, Using pythagorus theorem,.

Half of diagonal (2) = √(200)² - (160)²

= √14400

= 120

so, the other diagonal = 120×2 = 240

According to the eq. (I)

1/2 × 240 × 320

= 38400 m²

Area of the grass field that will grazed by each cows

= 38400

= 2560 m²
