area of rhombus =half of product of its two diagonal
Given side=40cm=0.4m
diagonal =12cm =0.12.........p
area =pq /2
now in rhombus ABCD sides AB=BC=CD=AD
AC and BD are two diagonal name as p and q
let O be point of interaction of diagonal
then length of diagonal q=area of triangle AOD *2
ΔAOD
AD²=AO² + DO²
(0.4)²=(0.06)²+DO²
DO²=0.16-0.0036
DO =√0.1564
then BD=2*DO=2*√0.1564............q
therefore area =pq/2
= 0.06*2*√0.1564/2
area =0.06√0.1564meter squre
rate of painting 1m²=5Rs
rate for painting 0.06√0.1564m²=5*0.06√0.1564=0.30√0.1564
=0.395*0.3=0.1185Rs/m²
