A rich merchant who lived in a city had a big mango grove in countryside.

He had employed watchmen to guard his mangoes but still every time he would come to the grove he would see that mangoes are stripped of the branches and half eaten and thrown on the ground near the tree.

This would upset him profoundly and he would pledge that the day he gets the culprit, he would teach him a lesson. He fired the guard for not doing his duty properly.

Then he started to suspect that maybe it were the children who come and steal his mangoes.

But the question would remain always, “why would they through them down?

Why waste?” this question haunted him incessantly.

After a lot of asking around he had no clue.

Tired and confused he was sitting in his grove one evening when he heard something.

As he stood up to see who or what it was, to his utter bewilderment, a troop of monkey was swarming his grove.

He had found the culprit, but he could not do anything about it.

Filled with sadness he got home and realized how he had accused the children, and fired the guard, but he could not do anything against the real culprits.
