The sides of triangle are 10 cm and 7.1 cm and 7.1 cm

Solution:

Given that,

A right angled isosceles triangle is inscribed in a circle of radius 5 cm

Let ABC be a right angled isosceles triangle is inscribed in a circle of radius 5 cm

In isosceles triangle, two sides are equal

Let the two equal sides be "a"

AB = a

AC = a

Circle of radius 5 cm

Therefore,

Diameter = 2(5) = 10 cm

Thus, BC = 10 cm

By pythogoras theorem,

BC^2 = AB^2 + AC^2\\\\10^2 = a^2 + a^2\\\\2a^2 = 100\\\\a^2 = 50\\\\a = 7.071 \approx 7.1

Thus the sides of triangle are 10 cm and 7.1 cm and 7.1 cm
