A right angled triangle has the largest side as
13 cm and one of the sides containing the right
angle as 12 cm. Its area in cm²

Hypotenuse= 13cm, let other side be x

one side= 12cm

12^2 + x^2 = 13^2

144+ x^2 = 169

x^2= 25

x= √25

x=5

then,

Area= 1/2×base×height

= 1/2×12×5

= 30cm square
