A right angled triangle whose sides are 15 cm and 20 cm is made to resolve about its hypotenuse.Find the volume and surface area of the double cone so formed.(use π=3.14)

calculate slant height of cone which is hypotaneous of triangle.

so l = root ( 15^2 + 20^2)

= root ( 225 + 400)

= root (625)

= 25

i assume its base is 15 cm . so r is 15 cm . height is 20 cm

so volume is = pi* r^2 *h /3= 3.14 × 15 × 15 × 20/3

surfave area = pi* r^2 + pi *r *l = pi * r ( r + l)

= 3.14 * 15 ( 15 + 25)
