A right circular cone is 3.6 cm high and the radius of its base is 1.6 cm. It is melted and recast into a right circular cone having base radius 1.2 cm. Find its height.

Volume of a cone = 1/3πr²h  

Let h be the height of the new cone formed.

Now, V_{1} = V_{1}

​⇒ 1/3π×1.6²×3.6=  1/3π×1.2² ×h

⇒h=6.4cm
