  1. Draw a reference line xy.
  2. As the cone is resting on one of it's generator in HP, Initially the base will be on HP.
  3. Now, draw a circle (Base of cone) in HP whose radius is 20 mm.
  4. Now project the top view and draw its respective front view.
  5. In front view, we get a triangle, as it is a cone.
  6. Now, take a slant edge of triangle and rotate it until it touches reference line.
  7. If we rotate in this way, the cone will rest on one of its generator in HP.
  8. Now, project the front view and draw the top view.

Therefore, in this way we can draw the projection of right circular cone.
