Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Diameter of cylindrical container = 24 cm

Since The right circular cylindrical container,contains 2160 cubic cm water.

That means volume of the container = 2160 cubic cm.

We have to find out the height of the container.

So, radius = \frac{diameter}{2}=\frac{24}{2}=12\ cmradius=2diameter=224=12 cm

Now, Volume of cylindrical container = \pi\times r^2\times\ hπ×r2× h

Where r is the radius and h is the height.

On substituting the values, we get;

\begin{gathered}\pi\times(12)^2\times h= 2160\\\\3.14\times 144\times h=2160\\\\h=\frac{2160}{3.14\times144}=4.77\ cm\end{gathered}π×(12)2×h=21603.14×144×h=2160h=3.14×1442160=4.77 cm

Hence The height of the cylindrical container is 4.77 cm
