Answer:

Given :

Radius = 14 cm

Height = 21 cm

1. Area of base:

 = \pi \:  {r}^{2}

 =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 14 \times 14

cancel 14 and 7

 = 22 \times 2 \times 14

 = 616

2. Curved surface area :

 = 2\pi \: r \: h \:

 = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 14 \times 21

cancel 7 and 14

 = 2 \times 22 \times 2 \times 21

 = 1848

3. Total surface area :

2\pi \: r \:  \:( r \:  + h)

 = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 14(14 + 21)

cancel 7 and 14 we get

 = 2 \times 22 \times 2(14 + 21)

 = 88(35)

 = 3080

3. Volume :

 = \pi \:  {r}^{2} h

 =  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {14}^{2}  \times 21

cancelling 7 and 21

 = 22 \times 196 \times 3

 = 12936

Given:-

  • Radius of cylinder= 14 cm.
  • Height of cylinder= 21 cm.

To find :-

  1. Area of base.
  2. Curved surface area.
  3. Total surface area.
  4. Volume of cylinder.

Solution:-

Radius(r) = 14 cm.

Height(h) = 21 cm.
