ANSWER:

Given:

r = 7 cm
h = 12 cm
Rate = 25 paise/cm^2

To find:

Cost

Solution:

TSA = 2πr(r+h)

= 2 × 22/7 × 7 ( 7 + 12 )

= 44 × 19

= 836 cm^2

Now that we have surface area we can find cost using following formula

Cost = Rate × SA

= 25 × 836

= 20900 paise

1 Rs = 100 paise

therefore 20900/100

Therefore Cost of polishing is Rs 209

Hope this helps!

Answer:5222.897/- rs. If it 25 paise per sq.cm

Step-by-step explanation:surface area of cylinder is

2*pie*r(r+h)..cm^2

Given 25 paise per sq.cm

Total money required is

surface area*cost per sq.cm

So total cost= 835.67*25=130572.44 paise=5222.897 rs...
