Since a cylinder is form from a metal sheet both the area will be same.

here we need radius to find C.S.A

Height of a cylinder = length of metal sheet=30cm

Thus, Ar. of metal sheet = Ar. of cylinder

=> L×B = 2πrh

=> 30×22 = 2×22/7×r×30

=>4620/1320=r

=>r=3.5cm

This C. S. A of a cylinder =

2×22/7×3.5×30

=> 660 sq.m
