A right circular metallic pipe opened at two ends is 21cm long The inner diameter of the pipe is 11.2cm and the uniform thickness of the metal 0.4cm.find the volume if the metal contained in the pipe.​

Answer:

Inner Radius = 11.2/2 = 5.6 cm

outer Radius = 5.6 + 0.4 = 6 cm

Required volume of pipe =

\pi \:  \times  {6}^{2}  \times 21 - \pi \times (5.6) {}^{2}  \times 21 = 21\pi(36 - 31.36) = 21\pi \times 4.64 = 97.44\pi \:  \: ans.
