We Have to find the volume of the solid obtained :
To find it's volume :
- When a right triangle is revolved about the side having 12cm, we obtain a right circular cone with radius 9cm and height 12cm
- Therefore,
- Volume obtained of right circular cone will be equal to (1/3) × π × (r)² × h
- => Volume obtained of right circular cone = (1/3) × π × (r)² × h
- => (1/3) × (22/7) × (9)² × 12
- => (1/3) × (22/7) × 9 × 9 × 12
- => 1018.28 cm²
The volume of the solid thus obtained will be 1018.28 cm².
