A right triangle of hypotenuse 13 cm and one of its sides 12 cm is made to revolve taking side 12 cm as its axis. Find the curved surface area of the solid so formed.

Solid shape is cone .

volume of cone = 1/3 π² h

you can see that, radius of cone is 5 cm .

Height is 12cm

Now, Volume of cone = 1/3 π(5)² × 12 = 4 × 3.14 × 25 = 314 cm³
