base = 30

height = 40

hypotenuse = ?

since we know :

Pythagoras theorem -

H^2 = P^2 + B^2

= 40^2 + 30^2

= 1600 + 900

= 1700

H = √ 1700

= 41.23 Answer

hopefully it'll be helpful for u !

Answer:

BASE IS 30cm

HEIGHT IS 40cm

Here, lets apply the Pythagoras theorem

hypotenuse²= base²+ height²

substituting the values we have:-

hypotenuse²=  30²+ 40²

hypotenuse²= 900+ 1600

hypotenuse²= 2500

hypotenuse = √2500

hypotenuse = 50cm
