Let AB be the hypotenuse , BC be the base side that is the radius of the base circle of the cone and AC be the height of the cone.

volume of cone = $\pi r^2\frac{h}{3}$

radius = 8 cm

height = 15 cm

volume = $\frac{22}{7} * 8^2 * \frac{15}{3} = \frac{22}{7} * 64 * 5$ $= 1005.71 cm^3 \ (approx.)$
