Δ ABC be a right angled triangle.

Let AB be the hypotenuse , BC be the base side that is the radius of the base circle of the cone and AC be the height of the cone.

volume of cone = \pi r^2\frac{h}{3}

radius = 8 cm

height = 15 cm

volume = \frac{22}{7} * 8^2 * \frac{15}{3}  = \frac{22}{7} * 64 * 5 = 1005.71 cm^3 \ (approx.)
