Respected Editor,  

I am sure you are highly aware of the unstable city situation and the imposed curfew that has limited the mobility of citizens. People are very anxious of the situation and don’t know what to do to bring the city back to its peaceful state.

It was a week ago that an extremist group started riots in one corner of the city that soon enveloped the whole area resulting in blocked roads, jammed traffic and above all the physical destruction to the infrastructure that this group had caused to public property. Even the interference of police couldn’t stop the situation and it got worse resulting in an imposed curfew by the government. All these conditions are also making me highly anxious and I wanted to present some suggestions through which it will be possible for situation to calm down.

First, we need to realize our responsibility as a state citizen and if there is something that is contradicting to our views we need to process in a civilized way and not to attack common people who haven’t done anything. Tolerance is the foremost factor especially in a country that is so culturally and religiously diverse. We need to be understanding towards each other and respect each other’s beliefs. Standing united and peaceful is the only way we can drive our country towards prosperity and success.
