a river 10m deep and 86m wide is flowing at the rate of 2km/hr. Find the amount of water that runs into the river per minute.

b= 86m
h= 10m
l= 2000/60
= 100/3m

now,
v= 86*10*100/3
=28666m³

Height = depth = 10m = h.

Width = breadth = 86m = b.

Length = 2km per hour = 2000m per 60 min = 100/3 m per minute = l.


Volume = lbh = 100/3 * 10 * 86

=28666.6666 m³ = 28666666.6666 litres.
