.Given,

Height = 2m
Breadth = 45m

Length = Speed = Distance/Time = 3000/60 = 50 m

Hence,

Quantity of water falls in sea = Volume = lbh

=> Quantity = ( 50 x 45 x 2) m^3

=> Quantity = 4500 m^3

=> Quantity = (4500 x 1000) [ 1 m^3 = 1000 L]

=> Quantity = 4500000 Litres

Answer: 4500 m^3

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the Question

Rate of water flow = 3 km / hour

Now change km/hr into minute

= \bf\huge\frac{3000}{60}

= 50 m/min

Depth of river = 2 m (H)

Width of river = 45 m (B)

Volume of water flow  in 1 minute

= 50m × 45m × 2m

= 4500 m^3

Hence,

1 minute = 4500 m^3
