Given that rate of flowing water = 3 km/hr
= 3000 m/60 minutes
= 50 m/minute
Depth or height of the river = 2 m
Width of the river = 45 m
Volume of flowing water in 1 minute = Rate of flowing water × Height of the river × Width of the river
⇒ 50 × 2 × 45
⇒ 4500 m³
So, in 1 minute, 4500 m³ water will fall into the sea.
