Solution :-

Given that rate of flowing water = 3 km/hr

= 3000 m/60 minutes

= 50 m/minute

Depth or height of the river = 2 m

Width of the river = 45 m

Volume of flowing water in 1 minute = Rate of flowing water × Height of the river × Width of the river

⇒ 50 × 2 × 45

⇒ 4500 m³

So, in 1 minute, 4500 m³ water will fall into the sea.
