HELLO DEAR,
Given, a river 2m deep and 45m wide is flowing at the rate of 3km per hour.
Area of cross section of the river = 2 * 45 = 90 m2
Now, volume of water flowing through this cross section in every minute = Area * rate
= 90 * 3 km/hr
= 90 * (3000/60) m/min
= 45 * 100
= 4500 m3
Since 1 m3 = 1000 litres
So, 4500 m3 = 4500 * 1000 litres = 4500000 litres
So, in 1 minute, water will fall into the sea is 4500000 litres.
I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,
THANKS
