rate of flow of water = 2.4km per hour = 2.4×5/18 m/sec = 0.6 m/sec
10 min = 600 sec
volume of water flow into the sea = 3.5 × 28 × 0.666667 ×600 = 39200 m³ or 39200×10³ lit

GauravJangra: calculation mistakes...MADHANSCTS...check it points digit causing error.
GauravJangra: well tried

depth = 3.5m
width  = 28m

we have need to find out its area..because we directly can't findout its volume.
so area=depth*width
 = 3.5 * 28 = 98 sq. m

flow of water in 10 minutes = area * velocity in minutes * time

98 * 2.4 * 1000(to convert it into metre) / 60 (to convert it into minutes) *10 = 39200 cubic mtr

MADHANSCTS: u have to convert kmph into m/sec
GauravJangra: yup but its easy to make it in mtr/min because we have 10 mins..if i'll make it in sec. then i also have to convert 10 mins into seconds which is more complex
MADHANSCTS: but 2.4 kmph = 40 m/min
GauravJangra: 2.4*1000/60 which gives the same result
MADHANSCTS: ok
GauravJangra: are you getting my point or not
GauravJangra: m not saying your answer is wrong..but you take 0.666666...67 as 0.6 which causes error if you'll take the whole value then you'll get the same answer
MADHANSCTS: thanks for u r opinion
GauravJangra: olws welcome....in the we ol r brainly friends..!!hehe
GauravJangra: in the end*
