2.4 km/h=2400m/h
2400/60=40m/min
water flowing in the sea in 10 min = lbh*10
28*40*3.5*10 = 39200m3

Answer:

39200000 liters of water will flow into the sea in 10 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

Depth of river = 3.5 m

Width of river = 28 m wide

Area of cross section of the river = 3.5 \times 28 = 98m^2

Rate of flow of water = 2.4km/h = 2.4 \times \frac{1000}{60} = 40 m/min

Volume of water flowing through this cross section in every minute:

=  Area \times rate

= 98 \times 40

 = 3920

Volume of water flowing through this cross section in 10 minutes:

= 3920 \times 10

= 39200

Since 1 cubic m  = 1000 liters

So,  39200 cubic m  = 39200 \times 1000

                                   = 39200000

Hence 39200000 liters of water will flow into the sea in 10 minutes
