Length = 3m

Breadth = 40m

Area = 120m²

Speed = 2km/hr

Convert 2km/hr in m/min

2000/60 = 100m/3min

120×100/3= 4000m = 4litre water

CORRECT QUESTIONS : -

A river 2 m deep and 45 m wide is flowing at the rate of 3 km/hr.find the quantity of water that run in to the sea per minute

given,

h = 3 m

b = 40 m

Find ,

find the quantity of water that run in to the sea per minute

REQUIRED ANSWER : -

GIVEN ,

h = 3 \: m

b = 40 \: m

➠ The water flowing river  =  \frac{2km \times 1000}{1h \times 60}

l =  \frac{2000}{60}  =  \frac{100}{3} \:  m\m \:

volumn \: of \: water \: fall \: into \: sea \: in \: min \:  = l \times b \times h

 \frac{100 \times 40 \times  3}{3}  = 4000  \:  m {}^{2}  \:

hence, proved :)

★ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

➠ Volume = length × breadth × height

● Length of cuboid = Volume/(breadth × height)

● Breadth of the cuboid = Volume/(length × height)

● Height of the cuboid = Volume/(length × breadth)

➠ Volume of the cuboid = (Area of base) × (height of the cuboid) = (l × b) × h = lbh
