first consider that the river is in shape of cuboid ( a diagram will be attached at the end )

Water flowing in river in 1 hr = 2km

( as depth is given in metres we will convert 2km in metres )

as we all know

1km = 1000m

so 2 km(s) will be equal to 2×1000= 2000m

Water flowing in river in 60 minutes = 2000metres

water \: flowimg \: im \: 1mimute \:  =  \frac{2000}{60}  \\  =  \frac{100}{3}

length \:  =  \frac{100}{3} m

Breadth = 40m

height = 30 m

.°. Volume of water fall in sea in 1 minute = Volume of cube

 = l \times b \times h \\  =  \frac{100 \times 40 \times 3}{3}  \\ 4000 \: metres
