water flowing in the river in 1 hour=2 KM=2000m

water flowing in the river in 60 minutes= 2000m

water flowing in the river in 1 minute= 2000/60=100/3m

now river is the shape of cuboid

length= 100/3 m

breadth=40m

height=3m

volume of water falling in the sea in one minute=volume of the cuboid = length*breadth*height

= 100/3*40*3

=4000 metre cube Ans.
