Given :-

A river 3 m deep and 40 m wide is flowing at the rate of 2 km per hour. How much water will fall into the sea in a minute ?

To find :-

How much water will fall into the sea in 1 minute

Answer :-

Rate of water flowing - 2 km

A river of deep - 3 meters

The wide of 40 meters

= 2 × 1000 / 60

= 100 / 3

= 100 / 3 × 40 × 3

= 4000m³

∴ Per minute 4000m³ of water will falls into the sea.
