A river 3m deep and 40m wide is flowing at rate of 2km per hour. How much water will fall into the sea in a minute ​

Answer:

Volume of water= Area of cross section*speed*time

Area of cross section= 3*40= 120 sq.m.

Speed= 2000m/hr

Time= 1/60hr

Volume Of water= 120*2000*1/60

=4000 litres per minute
