Amount of water flow in 1 hr=3*40*2000
Amount of water flow in 1 minute
= 240000/60=4000 m^3= 4000 kl

Here, Area of river = depth × width=3×40=120m²

amount of water that falls into the sea ⇒ area of river × flow rate

⇒120m² ×2km/hr

⇒120× (60)min2×1000m³

⇒4000 min m³

4000m³ of water falls into the sea per minute.
