Its very easy :) ❤✌

Its given in the question A river 4m deep and 5m wide flowing at the rate of 3km/hr

If you will read the above statement very carefully you will conclude :

length = 3km every hour

Breadth = 5m

Height = Depth = 4m

Question is asking , " How much it will flow in 30minutes " not , "How much in 1 hour"

So

we will change our length in minutes...

===> 3km in 1 hour

===> 3km /60 in 1 minutes

===> 3km /60 × 30 in 30 minutes

if you will solve you will get length as :

L = 1.5 km in 30minutes

change it into metres as everything is in metres

L= 1.5 × 1000 = 1500m

Now we have Length as well as Breadth and Height So why we are doing late .. LETS QUICKLY FINDOUT THE VOLUME

____________________

Volume = length × Breadth × height

Put the values...

volume = 1500m × 5m × 4m

Volume = 30000m^3
