a river 700m wide is flowing at 3kmph . a swimmer whose velocity in still water is 4kmph can swim only for 20 min in what direction should he strike out in order to reach opposite bank in 20 min? what total dist will he swim?​

theta = ten ¹ 4/3 = 53.1°

Magnitude of resultant velocity

OB' = OA² + OB²

= 3² + 4²

= 5 km/h

Distance of swimmer= OB' × time

= 5 × 15/60

= 1.25km ans.......
