A River has 6m depth and 12m width.Water is flowing through it at the rate of 3m/s.Find the quantity of water in litres flow into the sea in 45 minutes.

=> the volume of river path/ the rate of flowing water = the quality of water flowed through the river.

=> 6×12/3 = 72/3 = 24 m³/ s

then, 1 cubic metre is equal to 1000 litres .

=> 24×1000 = 24000 litres

=> then, change the minutes into second

=> 45×60 = 2700 seconds

=> then, the total rate of water will flow in these given 45 minutes duration are.

=> 24000× 2700 = 64,800,000 litres.
