hello frnd!!

here's ur answer...

circumference of the park=88m

2πr=88m

2×22/7×r=88m

44/7×r=88m

r=88/1×7/44

r=2×7

r=14cm

therefore radius of the park along with the road=14+3.5

=17.5m

area of the park=πr²

=22/7×14×14

=22×2×14

=44×14

=616m²

area of the park along with the road=πr²

=22/7×17.5×17.5

=6737.5/7

=962.5m²

area of the road=962.5-616

=346.5m²

total cost of paving the road if per metre² costs$60

=346.5×60

=$20790

hope this helps...

Circumference of park = 88 m
2 pi r = 88
2*22*r/7 = 88
=> r = 14 m

Inner Radius = 14 m
Outer Radius = 14 + 3.5 = 17.5 m

Area of road = Outer Area - Inner Area
= pi R^2 - pi r^2
= pi (R^2 - r^2)
= pi (R+r) (R-r)
= 22*31.5 * 3.5 / 7
= 22*31.5*0.5
= 11 * 31.5
= 346.5 m^2

Cost of paving = Rate *Area
= $ 60 * 346.5
= $ 6*3465
= $ 20790

Hope it will help you
