A road 90 m long and 10 m wide is to be paved with bricks having length and breadth as 20 cm and 7.5 cm respectively. Find the number of bricks required to pave the road.​

Answer:

Area of road = 90×10 = 900m²

Area of bricks = 20/100 × 7.5/100 = 15/10000

Total bricks = Area of road/Area of bricks

= 900×10000 / 15 = 600000bricks
