2πr = 44
2*22/7*r = 44
. '. r= 44*7/2*22 = 7m
. '. Radius of a circular plot excluding the road( r) = 7m
Width of the road = 3.5m
Therefore, radius of a circular plot including the road( R)=( 7+3.5) = 10.5m
Area of a circular road = area of a circular plot including the road - area of a circular road excluding the toad
= 2πR²-2πr²
=2π(R²-r²)
=2*22/7(10.5²-7²)
=44/7(110.25-49)
=44/7*61.25
=385 m²
Therefore, cost of paving the road
= 385*20= RS. 7700
