Answer:

first convert the distance in meter =4km 800m

=4×1000+800

=4800m

Now it is given that there trees are planted both side of the road

then total distance for tree plantation=2×4800

=9600

interval distance=9.6 m

then number of tree planted=9600÷9.6

= 1000 trees
