A road is 5 km 250 m long if lamp post are erected on both its sides at an interval of 12.5 m how many lamp post was erected​

Length of road = 5 km 250 m = 5250 m

Length of 1 interval = 12.5 m

No of intervals = 5250/12.5 = 420

No of lamp posts on 1 side = 420+1 = 421

(There are lamp posts at both ends.)

No of lamp posts on other side = 421

Total no of lamp posts = 421+421 = 842
