Given : Distance covered = 11km = 11000m

Number of revolution = 500

To find : Radius of roller(r)

Solution:

Distance travelled by roller in 1 revolution is 2πr

Total distance travelled in 5000 revolution are

5000×(2πr) = 11000

r=0.35 metres

r=35 cms

Hence, Radius of roller is 35 cms

Answer:

5000 revolution = 11km

1 revolution = 11÷5000×1000

=(11/5) m

=11/5×100

=220cm

now, circumference=2 pie r

220=2×22/7×r

r=7×5

r=35
